It wasn’t as easy as playing games on my PC or a console because there wasn’t a big selection of titles and performance was sometimes a problem, but that was then and this is now.Ī lot has changed in the last few years and with every passing year Macs become stronger and more equipped to handle games, and more developers start seeing that and bringing their games to Mac. Throughout my life I have always had either an iMac, MacBook or iPad around, and contrary to popular belief, I have always been able to play games on them. I tried to make people see that gaming could be easy and accessible.īut somewhere along the line I forgot where I came from: I’m a HUGE Apple fangirl. It’s the one love I have that could easily stand its own against my love for gaming. I’ve also written posts about which games make a good transition from mobile gaming to something more serious. I started trying to break down some of the more intense online games like League of Legends and Hearthstoneso that no one had to feel scared to dive in for the first time. So I started writing the type of gaming articles that I wish I had when I was younger. I wanted to help show that gaming wasn’t just for a select demographic of people, it was for everyone. Instead, I wanted to be a bridge that helped people discover this wonderful world through my writing so that they get to experience the magic that I do and also find that feeling of inclusion. When I decided I wanted to start writing about games I never wanted to pretend that I was some all-knowing gaming god and blow people away with my knowledge. One of the reasons I fell in love with gaming, to begin with, was the feeling of being included in something bigger than myself: bigger than the world I lived in and the feeling of being part of a community that is indescribably colourful, bubbly and amazing.

Since this is a multiplayer game, you can play with up to four people online or even do two-player local co-op with split screen.Īnd the best part? The game world is also full of loot, treasure, upgrades, and side stories that are immersive and intriguing. The races include Elves, Dwarves, Lizards, Humans, and the Undead. You get five fantasy races in Divinity: Original Sin 2, and they all come with distinctive personalities and stories. All of the choices that you make in this game matter, so you'd better choose wisely. In Divinity: Original Sin 2, you can create your own party and create a branching gameplay experience with unique story for everyone. It may start off a little slow at first, but it definitely picks up once you get into the flow of things.

And there's nothing more satisfying than ripping through a horde of demons and monsters and watching a new Legendary weapon or armor drop.ĭiablo 3 is one of my favorite games to play to pass time, and you can also play with up to three other people at once. Every hero has many skills and abilities to unlock as you level them up to 70, and the loot grind is endless. There are also Seasons with unique rewards to obtain, but you have to start fresh each season. You can choose to go through the Campaign mode (recommended for first time players), or even do Adventure mode for the loot grind. Each character has a different play style, so they're all unique in their own ways. In Diablo 3: Eternal Collection, you can pick from seven different hero classes: Barbarian, Monk, Demon Hunter, Sorcerer, Witch Doctor, Crusader, and Necromancer (the last two are from the DLC, which is included with Eternal Collection).
I personally have put hundreds of hours into Diablo 3 across multiple platforms (Mac, PS4, and Nintendo Switch) since the game originally came out because I absolutely love it that much.
